Jeremy Jaramillo
Jeremy Jaramillo was born in El Paso and lived there during his youth. He then transitioned over to San Diego and lived there for five years, where he ended up having his biggest influences of life through there. After five years, he soon returned back to El Paso to be with his family. From there, he went to Franklin High School and started working at his first job at the age of 17. With the mix of his education and work experience in retail, it’s where he soon discovered his passion for business administration, and more specifically, marketing.
Once he graduated high school, he attended the University of Texas at El Paso studying under the College of Business Administration (COBA). Well there, Jeremy declared and majored in marketing with a minor in accounting. Throughout his years at UTEP, he had won numerous scholarships, grants, and was congratulated for being on the Dean’s list seven times throughout his education. He graduated in May of 2021 with his bachelor’s degree with honors. While finishing his last year in school, Jeremy’s first break in marketing came when he landed an internship with the biggest marketing company in El Paso, Monsterlink Marketing.

Well there, he developed his skills as a web developer, content writer, and advanced his skills in Photoshop. He was with the company for a year before maneuvering into his next adventure; college advising at the University of Texas at Austin (UT Austin). It was there where he developed and used his graphic design, social media, phone & e-mail marketing skills to obtain his objective goals of higher education for under-privileged students. This also blossomed a new chance for Jeremy. He realized while he was there, how much he valued his and other people’s education, and decided to go back to school to get his master’s in marketing & data analytics at Texas A&M Commerce. A program which was supposed to take him two years to finish, but ultimately took him eleven months as he found the information stimulating.
After two years under AmeriCorp’s contract, Jeremy left higher education and started working his way back into marketing by doing freelance projects and event planning for different companies and non-profit organizations for a year-and-a-half. He kept on working on these projects before another opportunity came in the form of stock investments. Bernard Semon of Stratos Investments of OneSeven offered him an opportunity to use all his past and potential future skills to improve his marketing presence. With the help of the rest of Bernard’s team, Jeremy continues helping Bernard in any way he can. In the future, Jeremy wants to go for his PhD in business administration so he may become a professor and expand his marketing knowledge even further.
